I have both the 16 mm Hyper Red and 14 mm Hyper Green. I love the 16 mm deep throated sound and velocity it gets after contact. I need to play with the Green 14 mm hyper more to experience the difference. I will let you know!

The CPX Hyper+ is a great paddle! Expected it to ship in two months and be my Christmas present, but it arrived in a week. Of course I couldn’t wait, so I’ve played 3 times with it now and love it! It’s the widebody version and it’s all sweet spot with a great feel! On top of all that, the paddle cover has got to be the nicest one ever made. I’ve let a couple people try it at the club and so far I could have sold 3 if I had bought in bulk! They’ve got a winner here!
The CPX Hyper+ has a feel that comes surprisingly close to the Boomstik. The overall feel and response are similar, making it a great option for players who like the Boomstik’s playing characteristics. If you’re looking for a paddle that gives you a similar feel without switching too far from what you’re used to, the CPX Hyper+ is definitely worth trying.

I've been playing with the Hyper+ 16mm Red for about 3 weeks at this point. Hands down the best paddle I've played with in 6 years of Pickleball. Huge sweet spot, tons of power of pop and power and surprising control. Honestly I'm experiencing far fewer pop ups and getting shots/resets back that I would not have with my Honolulu J2CR. At first I felt like I had to ease up on my swing but at this point I've either gotten used to that modifies swing or there was somewhat of a break in. However, in either case, this is a phenomenal paddle.

Paddles arrived earlier than expected. Both my husband and I are using the 16mm. He likes the 14mm a bit better, so much so that I've not been able to borrow it to try it out! I guess I'll have to order one myself!

Paddle is awesome You would think it has less controlled than the 16 mm Diablo red. But the rebound seems to be less and the control seems to be even better with just as much if not more power.

Paddle has touch control plus power, grit spins ball….but not anything more than my Paddletek Honey Foam, my 16mm Paddletek has more power, but CPX Hyper has more control….
I'm nursing sprain on my arm and wrist and the hyper + really feel much better than my last paddle. Good action on it. Much less effort to hit the ball on rallys and drives. I have large hands so I think I will over grip it to fit me better. Thanks for the good paddle.

Before you pre-order
Should I get the Red 16mm or the Green 14mm?
Same HYPERFOAM X Core in both, different core thickness. The Green is the thinner build, so it comes in lighter and quicker in the hand, with more pop off the face. The Red carries more material behind the ball, which makes it steadier on contact and easier to settle on a reset.
Worth saying plainly: neither of these is a soft touch paddle. Owners of the 16mm consistently describe it as powerful, and several say they had to adjust their swing for it. If you are coming off a low-power control paddle, expect a break-in period with either one. Take the Red if you want the more forgiving of the two, the Green if you want the fastest hands at the net.
