The paddle feels light and has a nice sweet spot. The hyper foam does give it a different sound; many people have asked me what kind of paddle I am playing with because they have noticed the sound right away. I have already gotten used to the sound but it did throw me off for the first couple of games. As a former tennis player I find this racket matches my game. My serves aren't as powerful as with my previous paddle but they are more accurate. I also notice that I am hitting the ball closer to the top of the net with more control. So far so good.

I wish I could give this 10 stars. I'm not sure I'll play with another paddle again. The pop, the control, the power... superb! Please come out with a neon pink one! 🙏🙏🙏
Great paddle, has good grip, definitely had some power but still plays pretty good at the net. Getting some good spin on the ball and blocking drives with ease. Added an overgrip and some weights to tune it up how I like it.

Best paddle I've ever owned. Power, some what control. This paddle has a great amount of power. Once u get use to it, you can control the power. My percentage of wins have gone up 35%.
Got it as an anniversary gift for my husband who has developed an interest for pickle ball and goes regularly to play... But couldn't wait to give it to him, so he opened it well in advance has been loving it since. He enjoys the pop and power this paddle gives. The packaging was really luxurious and eye catching, which is great for gifting.He said he enjoys playing with it, needs to get a little used to. The length could be a little longer. Very well made paddle. We are happy with the purchase, would definitely recommend it to other players.

This is a great addition to my Hyper+ 16mm paddle. I love both paddles and have a hard time deciding which one to use. They’re forcing me to keep my CRBN and Omni in my bag.

Love the weight, balance and feel of the paddle. The surface with the foam core and 90% sweet spot helps me win a lot more shots even when I don’t exactly hit the ball in the middle. The carbon textured surface also makes spins much easier and better than my old Joola Ben Johns paddle.
Love the paddle for its pop, control, spin and balance. Best value on the market by far imo.

The mystery box has a great price and is exciting to open. It is kinda like opening a gift on Christmas as a little kid. I needed to replace my Engage Pursuit EX 60 paddle, which was about 7 years old and definitely showing signs of wear. I decided to take a chance on the CPX Mystery Pickleball Paddle DEMO UNIT/REFURBISHED deal. I expected a slightly used entry-level paddle, but what I received was more than I expected. Instead, I received the Ultra Red, White, and Blue Freedom paddle. It came with the cover and still had the wrapper on the handle. In my opinion, it is a well-made paddle. Bought 2 mystery racquets and got the AIR and PRO, both beautiful, high quality, and plays better than what I had. Wife is happy with the lightness and maneuverability of the Air, and I am liking the cosmetics of the Pro and the power and control it possesses. Very happy, will buy again in the future when ready to upgrade

This is my second mystery box paddle. The first was the Air, and now the Ultra. Two completely different paddles with different feels. I have smaller hands and prefer the grip on the Ultra. Ultra is also longer and helping me with my reach while playing. Definitely am liking to play more with this one.
