HOW TO APPLY
Two minutes, once a season
Do it on a fresh paddle before the first scuff, or over a used one to stop it getting worse.
01 Wipe the edge
Clean the edge guard with a dry cloth so the adhesive has something to hold. Start at the bottom corner near the handle.
02 Wrap with light tension
Peel the backing as you go and follow the curve of the paddle, pressing the tape down as you round the top. Keep it centered on the edge guard so it does not creep onto the face.
03 Trim and press
Cut it clean where it meets the handle on the other side, then run your thumb around the whole edge once more to set it.

Edge guard fit perfectly
I had surgery last week so used it for the first time this morning. I really like the feel of it. It's lightweight and moves quickly. The sound of the ball hitting off the paddle is hollow-like. It has great pop. I don't have a lot of power so it will be to my advantage once I get used to it! We only played a few games, due to weather. I did hit it out of their back court a few times while in transition. I expect to get better control as I use it more in the next couple of weeks. Overall, I am very happy with it!

It’s the perfect replacement edge tape but it’s quite expensive when you pay for shipping.

I have and love my orange and black Ultra paddle. The folks I play with play fairly aggressive pickleball which calls for a lot of digs. And we all know what digs do to a paddle. I had this tape on my paddle and the corners or the paddle were looking really ragged. I took the old tape off and my paddle looked like new! This tape really does the job of protecting the paddle edges.

Before you buy
Which size do I need?
Match the tape to your core thickness. CPX Max is 14mm, Ultra, Air and Hyper are 16mm, Pro is 19mm. On another brand, check the spec sheet for core thickness and pick the closest.
Does it add weight?
A few grams at most, spread evenly around the rim. You will not feel it. If you want to add weight on purpose, that is what Lead Tape Strips are for.
Is one roll enough for one paddle?
Yes, with a little left over.
Will it leave residue when I remove it?
No. Peel slowly and the edge guard underneath comes back clean.
When will it arrive?
